The St. Clair River was the scene for a rescue Wednesday afternoon for a boater who’s kayak overturned in the choppy waters.  Port Huron Fire Operations Chief Dan Mainguy tells us the incident happened about 2:20pm…

Eyewitness reports indicate a private Marysville fishing vessel retrieved the man from the chilly water just prior to Firefighters arriving on scene.  Mainguy says the kayaker initially refused medical treatment, but fire staff evaluated the man and he was transported to the US Coast Guard Station for treatment of possible hypothermia.

A kayaker trying to hang on to his boat after it overturned in the St. Clair River was rescued Wednesday afternoon by a private vessel.  The incident happened about 2:20pm, with Port Huron Fire Division crews called to the waters south of the Blue Water Bridge.  Eyewitness to the incident Ed Breslin tells us what he saw…

Port Huron Fire Operations Chief Dan Mainguy says at first the man refused medical treatment, but fire staff evaluated him and he was taken to the US Coast Guard Station for treatment of possible hypothermia.  Fire Crews were assisted by the US Coast Guard, Pointe Edward Fire and Rescue and Sarnia Fire and Rescue crews.

If you read this. I was the Eye witness, legally I wasnt aloud to release the story until today because it was aired on 1380 WPHM in Port Huron MI at 8:30am.

I write news stories for 5 radio stations now, YAY radio… (sarcasm) it sucks, i wanna be on air not writing shitty stories that no one cares about besides 55 year old men that listen to AM radio, all the other FM station listeners just switch channels when the commercials come on because, well… NO ONE CARES… im going to post a few stories Ive written just so you can feel the pain too, or just ignore them, which ever you like.
